HL Deb 13 June 1968 vol 293 cc242-3

4.40 p.m.

LORD BESWICK

My Lords, I thought it might be for the convenience of the House if I said that owing to the number of speakers down for the debate on the Rhodesian Order next week it now appears that the Business will extend over to the Tuesday. I hope, however, it will be possible to take the Business now on the Order Paper for Tuesday at a time between 5 and 6 p.m.

EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, I wonder whether the noble Lord could give the House some indication how late it is intended to sit on the Tuesday on the Town and Country Planning Bill, after the Rhodesian Order?

LORD BESWICK

My Lords, to some extent I think that would depend upon the progress which we made, but I should have thought to some time between 10 and 11 o'clock.
