§ The Committee's Report was as follows:

1. —HANSARD REPORTING STAFF
The Committee authorised the employment of temporary Reporters and Typists for the Committee on the Gaming Bill and also temporary Reporters for assisting in the editing and reporting of Debates.
The Committee sanctioned special payments to the permanent Hansard Editor; and Reporters in respect of additional duty performed during the period to the end of the present Session. The Committee also authorised the payment of an allowance to Mr. C. E. Evans, a Clerical Officer, personally, with effect from the 1st July, 1968.

2.—REVISED SCALES OF PAY
The Committee sanctioned the application of the following Establishment Circulars:—
to analogous grades of the staff of the House of Lords.The Committee also authorised the payment of a non-pensionable annual gratuity to Mr. H. A. M. Kemp, a Doorkeeper, for extra time on Judicial Duties with effect from the 11th June, 1968.

3.—POLICE
The Committee authorised the additional payment for Police required for the sittings of the House of Lords on days when the House of Commons is in recess.
§
4.—COLUMN PRINTER NEWS SERVICE
The Clerk of the Parliaments informed the Committee of a change in the arrangements for supplying both Houses of Parliament wish teleprinter news service. The Committee authorised the payment of the House of Lords' share of the increased rental from 1st July, 1968.
§
5.—DEPARTMENT OF THE LORD GREAT CHAMBERLAIN AND SERJEANT-AT-ARMS
The Committee sanctioned the payment of a special allowance to Miss R. C. Eardley, personally, with effect from the 1st April, 1968.
§
6.—SUPLRANNUATION
The Committee sanctioned the payment of the following Superannuation awards, under the Superannuation Act, 1965:—
