§ LORD BESWICKMy Lords, as the House will know, we did not complete the Committee Stage of the Race Relations Bill on Thursday last, and additional time has therefore been allocated on Tuesday of this week. In those circumstances, it has been thought after discussions through the usual channels, that it would be difficult to take the Report stage of the Race Relations Bill on Thursday of this week, only two days after Committee. It is intended therefore, again after consultations with those concerned, to take the Committee (on Recommitment) and Report Stages of the Gaming Bill on Thursday of this week. Dinners will be available to-night between 7 and 8.30 p.m.
