HL Deb 05 July 1968 vol 294 c547
LORD BESWICK

My Lords, I hope it may be for the convenience of the House if I say that it is intended that the House will adjourn for half an hour at a convenient moment around 1 o'clock. Bearing in mind the transport situation and other factors, and the pressure of work on those who serve us, I hope the House will agree, that to-day's Business, if not completed at 4 o'clock, will be adjourned at that hour. I would remind your Lordships that, as I said yesterday, the Committee stage on the Theatres Bill, if not concluded to-day, will be taken after other Business on Monday.
