[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what measures of assistance they are considering to deal with the unprecedented damage caused by the hurricane in Scotland during the night of January 14–15, 1968.]

My Lords, my right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Scotland will be making a Statement in another place this afternoon, and I shall be repeating that Statement in this House at a convenient moment after 3.30 o'clock.
