§ To ask Her Majesty's Government what conclusions were reached at the Geneva international conference to negotiate a world agreement on sugar prices.]
§ LORD BESWICKMy Lords, the United Nations Sugar Conference opened in Geneva on April 17 and is expected to last for some weeks. It is the hope of Her Majesty's Government that the Conference will result in the conclusion of an effective International Sugar Agreement.
