HL Deb 04 April 1968 vol 290 c1324
LORD BESWICK

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. my noble friend Lord Hughes will be making a Statement on storm damage in Scotland.

I hope it will be for the convenience of the House if I say that it is intended to adjourn the Committee stage of the Social Works (Scotland) Bill at a convenient moment around 6.30 this evening. It is then intended that we should go on to the Amendments to the first clause of the Theft Bill, and then adjourn the Report stage at that point. Dinner will be available, without an adjournment, from a quarter to seven until a quarter past eight.

LORD SALTOUN

My Lords, may I ask when it is proposed to continue the Committee stage of the Scottish Bill?

LORD BESWICK

On Tuesday next.
