HL Deb 30 November 1967 vol 287 c236
LORD CARRINGTON

My Lords, I beg leave to ask a Question of which I have already given Private Notice; namely, Whether Her Majesty's Government will make a statement on the conclusion of the standby loan to Britain by the International Monetary Fund?

LORD BESWICK

My Lords, I will reply to this question in the form of a Statement at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. I hope that it will be to the convenience of the House if I say that there will be a cold buffet dinner tonight from 7.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is not intended to break into the Committee stage of the Consumer Protection Bill, but to continue it until about 9 p.m. Arrangements for dinner on Monday, December 4, will be announced on that day.
