LORD BOWLES

My Lords, with permission, I should like to make a short statement on to-morrow's business. It is intended to take the Commons' Message on the Iron and Steel Bill immediately after Questions to-morrow. Thereafter the House will consider the Consolidated Fund (No. 2) Bill, before launching into the main business of the afternoon which will be the debate on Civil Defence. A Royal Commission has been arranged for 6.30 p.m. That concludes the statement.
