HL Deb 13 March 1967 vol 281 c6
LORD BALFOUR OF INCHRYE

My Lords, I beg leave to ask a Question of which I have given Private Notice: To ask Her Majesty's Government whether, in view of the High Commissioner in Aden's warning, on grounds of security risk, to parents not to bring children to Aden, and the Military Middle East Command's reported intention to fly 400 children to Aden for Easter holidays, and the fact that many Service families live outside military compounds, Her Majesty's Government will now issue authoritative advice on what parents should do regarding this apparent contradiction.

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, my noble friend Lord Shackleton will be answering that Question, with the permission of the House, shortly after 3.30 p.m. After that my noble friend Lord Beswick will be making a Statement on Malta.
