HL Deb 06 March 1967 vol 280 c1207

2.36 p.m.

LORD MOYLE

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have considered the consultants' proposals made to the Secretary of State for Wales for a mid-Wales new town; and whether they have reached any decision.]

BARONESS PHILLIPS

My Lords, consideration of the consultants' proposals has now reached an advanced stage. My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Wales will be making an announcement about the Government's policies for Mid-Wales in another place on March 15. I cannot anticipate to-day what he may say.
