§ LORD SHEPHERDMy Lords, may I intervene for a few moments, to make a Business Statement? It may be for the convenience of the House to be aware that, while the date of the adjournment for the Summer Recess must depend upon progress of business, which the House will know is heavy, it is hoped that it will be possible to rise on July 28. It is proposed that the House should resume on Monday, October 23.
