LORD KENNET

My Lords, I beg to move Amendment No. 13 formally.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

LORD KENNET

My Lords, may I have the leave of the House, simply for the purpose of saving time, to move the remaining Amendments on the Order Paper en bloc? If this is acceptable to noble Lords, and is in order, I would beg to move formally that the remaining Amendments Nos. 14 to 22 inclusive, be adopted.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendments, Nos. 14 to 22, to the words restored to the Bill.—(Lord Kennet.)

LORD MITCHISON

My Lords, I should have liked a word of thanks to the Government from the Opposition Front Bench, for introducing an Amendment which seems to me to be a small and rather good thing; that is, to allow costs to be taken into account when incurred by an individual.

LORD BROOKE OF CUMNOR

My Lords, there are several of these Amendments of which I quite definitely approve. Frankly, I was seeking to save time by keeping silent, knowing that another important debate is coming.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
