HL Deb 16 February 1967 vol 280 c415

3.25 p.m.

Order of the Day read for the Consideration of Commons Reason for disagreeing to the Lords Amendments.

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, I beg to move that the Commons Reason for disagreeing to the Lords Amendments be now considered. It may be for the convenience of the House if I move this Motion formally so that the main discussion may take place on the next Motion which I propose to move, That this House doth not insist on the Amendments to which the Commons have disagreed. When I come to that I think it would be for the convenience of the House if I were to cover all the Amendments.

Moved, That the Commons Reason for disagreeing to the Lords Amendments be now considered.—(Lord Shepherd.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
