HL Deb 20 December 1967 vol 287 cc1444-5
THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a third time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill read 3a.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill do now pass. This Bill, your Lordships may remember, is a consolidation of all those parts of the last 15 Finance Acts which relate to capital allowances. Making a start on the consolidation of the whole of the Finance Acts by selecting a particular subject matter out of those Acts means that at the end we shall have four or five large pieces to put together, instead of a large number of small ones. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill do now pass.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill passed, and sent to the Commons.
