HL Deb 14 December 1967 vol 287 c1257
BARONESS PHILLIPS

My Lords, I beg to move that the Bill be now read a third time. I have made further inquiries about an Amendment which was moved by the noble Lord, Lord Ilford, at the Report stage, and I understand that those whose concern the noble Lord, Lord Ilford, was expressing wished to have further time to consider the effect of the Amendment which he put down earlier and will write to my right honourable friend the Secretary of State if they have still further anxieties. My right honourable friend, for his part, will consider carefully what they have to say when the Bill is being considered in another place.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(Baroness Phillips.)

LORD ILFORD

My Lords, I am much obliged to the noble Baroness. The interested parties are in touch with each other, and I hope that some satisfactory result will emerge.

On Question, Bill read 3a, and passed, and sent to the Commons.
