HL Deb 25 April 1967 vol 282 c440

3.2 p.m.

Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a third time. This is another consolidation Bill—a straight consolidation of the Air Corporations Act 1949, the Air Corporations Act 1953, the Air Corporations Act 1962 and nearly all of the Air Corporations Act 1966. It does not include part of one paragraph of the Schedule to the 1966 Act for the reason that that particular part of that Act merely had the effect of converting into Government stock the stock of B.O.A.C. which was outstanding on April 1, 1965, and accordingly belongs really to the law of Government stock and not now to the law of the Air Corporations. My Lords, I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a. —(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill read 3a, and passed, and sent to the Commons.
