HL Deb 04 April 1967 vol 281 c848
LORD BYERS

My Lords, I beg leave to ask Her Majesty's Government the Question of which I have given them Private Notice; namely, whether they will make a Statement on the situation in Aden.

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, with permission may I say that my noble friend Lord Chalfont will reply to that Private Notice Question shortly after 3.30 p.m. this afternoon. My noble friend Lord Longford, the Leader of the House, will then make a statement on the "Torrey Canyon".

It may be for the convenience of the House if I say to your Lordships that Vice-President Humphrey of the United States will address both Houses in the Grand Committee Room, Westminster Hall, at 4.15 this afternoon, not at 3.45, as previously announced.
