HL Deb 15 November 1966 vol 277 cc1176-7

2.49 p.m.

Order of the Day read for the consideration of Commons Amendments.

THE MINISTER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO (LORD CHAMPION)

My Lords, I beg to move that the Commons Amendments be now considered. Perhaps I might give notice to the House that I propose, when we come to the first Amendment, to ask the House to treat the Amendments en bloc.

Moved, That the Commons Amendments be now considered.—(Lord Champion.)

LORD DRUMALBYN

My Lords, perhaps I may raise a point here. When we come to Schedule 3, Amendments 14 to 19, I have two points to raise on Amendments Nos. 18 and 19. I think it would be for the convenience of the House if I raised these points on Amendments 14 to 19.

LORD CHAMPION

My Lords, I was hoping that it could be done that way. Perhaps the noble Lord will indicate, when I have moved the Amendments en bloc, where he wishes to raise any objections or queries on any of the Amendments Nos. 1 to 19.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
