Order of the Day read for the consideration of The Queen's Message of Wednesday last.

HE LORD PRIVY SEAL)(THE EARL OF LONGFORD) rose to move, That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty thanking Her Majesty for Her Most Gracious Message communicating to this House Her Majesty's Declaration that a State of Emergency exists. The noble Earl said: My Lords, perhaps it would be for the convenience of the House if this Motion were agreed to formally at once, and that the discussion should take place on the Motion to approve the Emergency (No. 2) Regulations 1966. I therefore beg to move that an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty.

Moved, That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty thanking Her Majesty for Her Most Gracious Message communicating to this House Her Majesty's Declaration that a State of Emergency exists.—(The Earl of Longford.)
