My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the Prime Minister will take the opportunity, when visiting the President of the United States, to consult him about the principle involved in raising the price of gold.]
