§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to extend Sections 1 and 7A of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1958 to further 1150 classes of statutory inquiries and hearings; to transfer to the Secretary of State the power to make rules of procedure under the said Section 7A in respect of inquiries and hearings in Scotland; and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
