HL Deb 19 December 1966 vol 278 c1911

7.3 p.m.

House in Committee (according to Order).

House resumed: Bill reported without amendment: Report received.

Then, Standing Order No. 41 having been suspended (pursuant to the Resolution of December 13):

LORD RHODES

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a third time. Before letting it go, I should like to thank your Lordships for your cooperation in helping this Bill through. Subject to the minor Amendments that I outlined during the Second Reading, the effect of the Bill is to prolong existing legislation for three years, so as to enable the Government to carry out, in the light of the Report of the Monopolies Commission on Supply Bills, a review of films policy and legislation.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(Lord Rhodes.)

On Question, Bill read 3a, and passed.
