HL Deb 04 August 1966 vol 276 c1460
LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House if I inform your Lordships what we hope for by way of Business next week. We hope to take the Prices and Incomes Bill through all stages on Thursday next. Assuming that we achieve that, we would expect, again subject to Business, that the House could rise for the Summer Recess on Friday, August 12, and it has been suggested that Parliament should return on Tuesday, October 18.

This afternoon, at approximately 3.30 p.m., my noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor will make a Statement on the proposed Parliamentary Commissioner.
