§ THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD GARDINER)My Lords, I have to inform your Lordships that Her Majesty has been pleased to determine in favour of Mr. Gerard Nevile Mark Fane Trefusis the abeyance existing since the death of Charles John Robert Lord Clinton, in 1957, of the Barony of Clinton created by Writ. His Lordship now attends at the Bar with his Writ of Summons to take his seat. The noble Lord is the great grandson of the late Lord Clinton, through his grandmother.
Then his Lordship was called in and took The Oath.
