§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I believe I remarked, when this Bill was previously before your Lordships' House, what an extraordinary amount of statutory deadwood had already been found, and if my recollection is right we found some more on Third Reading which had not been found before. Another place appears to have been equally diligent and these Amendments, Nos. 19 to 34, refer to further obsolete provisions, and we are taking advantage of the Bill to repeal them. I accordingly beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.
