The first will be made by my noble friend Lord Walston, on the White Paper on the work of the Ministry of Overseas Development, and the second will be made by my noble friend the Leader of the House on awards to industry.
May I also announce that it is proposed that this House should resume after the Summer Recess on Tuesday, October 26? It is expected that Prorogation will take place during the week beginning Monday, November 1, and that the opening of the new Session will be on Tuesday, November 9.
