HL Deb 02 August 1965 vol 269 c22

House in Committee (on Recommitment) (according to Order).

House resumed: Bill reported without further amendment: Report received.

Then, Standing Order No. 41 having been suspended (pursuant to the Resolution of July 22):

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD GARDINER)

My Lords, in moving that the Bill be now read a third time, I should like to remind your Lordships that in the last two months a great deal of work has fallen on the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills by reason of the exceptional number of Consolidation Bills. One knows the great care with which the Committee consider the subject matters put before them, and I shall, I hope, be expressing the wish of the House if I say how grateful we are to them, and how much we appreciate what they have done. I beg to move that the Bill be now read a third time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3ª.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question. Bill read 3ª, and passed, and sent to the Commons.
