HL Deb 24 March 1964 vol 256 cc1139-40

Order of the Day read for the consideration of the Commons Amendment.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that the Commons Amendment be now considered.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

COMMONS AMENDMENT

[The reference is to Bill (91) as first printed for the House of Commons.]

Schedule 5, page 134, line 11, leave out ("so").

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment. This is merely a drafting Amendment, arising out of an oversight in the original text of the Bill, the word "so" not having appeared in the Acts consolidated.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
