HL Deb 24 June 1963 vol 251 c1

2.35 p.m.

LORD CROOK

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government, in view of the Question and Answer of February 14 last, whether they have yet completed their examination of the Report of the Company Law Committee, presented a year ago.]

THE MINISTER OF STATE, BOARD OF TRADE (LORD DERWENT)

My Lords, Her Majesty's Government have not yet completed their study of this Report, which covers a wide field and contains a large number of recommendations some of which raise complicated and controversial issues.

LORD CROOK

My Lords, may I thank the noble Lord? I appreciate the position and would not at this stage ask any supplementary.
