HL Deb 18 June 1963 vol 250 cc1178-9
VISCOUNT GOSCHEN

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House I beg to move the Motion which stands in his name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That, when the London Government Bill is considered on Report, the Amendments be marshalled and considered in the following order, vizt.:—

—(Viscount Goschen.)

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, this is obviously a contentious Bill, but I think it is right to tell the House that we agree with the proposal the noble Lord has moved. May I ask him whether, in view of the fact the Motion will be approved, a Marshalled List of these Amendments will be available tomorrow?

VISCOUNT GOSCHEN

My Lords, I think that will be so, but I should like to let the noble Lord know after this Motion has been agreed to.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
