EARL ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

My Lords, may I ask the Question of which I have given Private Notice: Whether Her Majesty's Government will be able to make a statement to-day with regard to the invasion of Aden Federated Territories by troops from the Yemen, and whether they can tell us what they propose to do about it?

THE MINISTER OF STATE, COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS OFFICE (THE DUKE OF DEVONSHIRE)

My Lords, with the permission of the House, I shall be glad to make such a statement at a suitable time after half-past three.
