§ THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT KILMUIR)My Lords, I have to inform the House that Her Majesty the Queen has been graciously pleased to appoint Captain Kenneth Lachlan Mackintosh, on the Retired List of the Royal Navy, to be Serjeant at Arms to attend the Lord Chancellor in your Lordships' House in place of Air Vice-Marshal Sir Paul Maltby, who has retired after more than fifteen years' service.
