THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FISHERIES AND FOOD (EARL WALDEGRAVE)My Lords, my right honourable friend the President of the Board of Trade is hopeful that the Report will be published before the Summer Recess, but the printing has not yet reached a stage which would permit him to announce a firm date.
§ BARONESS BURTON OF COVENTRYMy Lords, in thanking the noble Earl for that Answer, may I ask whether he is in a position to say when we might hope to be given a firm date?
EARL WALDEGRAVENo, my Lords. I do not think I can take my first Answer further: the Report will be published as soon as possible, but I cannot give a firm date at the moment.
