Clause 8, page 11, leave out line 33.

My Lords, Clause 8 (3) of this Bill as it went to another place, was in the following terms: The powers of the committee may be exercised by the chairman thereof and not less than four other members thereof of whom two are judges of the Supreme Court". In another place the subsection was amended by leaving out the words of whom two are judges of the Supreme Court. The effect of the Amendment here is simply to provide that the quorum of the Committee is the Chairman and any other four members. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
