HL Deb 11 July 1962 vol 242 c244
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (LORD MERTHYR)

My Lords, the noble Lord, Lord Morrison of Lambeth, has informed me, and I am grateful to him for having done so, that he wishes to raise certain matters on Second Reading in connection with this Bill. I therefore do not propose to move the Motion for Second Reading this afternoon. Your Lordships may find it convenient to know that it has been arranged that the Second Reading debate of this Bill shall take place as last Business on Thursday, July 19.

LORD MORRISON OF LAMBETH

My Lords, may I express my appreciation and thanks to the Lord Chairman of Committees for his courtesy and consideration in the matter, and say that I acquiesce in the proposal he makes?
