HL Deb 10 December 1962 vol 245 c396
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, I should like to inform your Lordships that my noble friend Lord Lansdowne will be making a statement on Brunei at some suitable moment after 3.30.

I should also like to inform your Lordships that it has been arranged, through the usual channels, that there should be a dinner adjournment this evening from 7.45 to 8.45 and dinners will be available in the Restaurant. I would earnestly ask your Lordships to be good enough to let your Whips know if you wish to have dinner. The reason is that there is a long-standing engagement in the main Dining Room for a large party, and (therefore dinners for Peers, I am afraid, must be limited to-night to Peers, excluding guests. It would facilitate matters considerably if I could know roughly the number we may expect for dinner.
