My Lords, I have to acquaint the House that the Clerk of the Parliaments has received a letter from Mr. Bertram Rees, Magistrate of Bow Street Magistrates' Court, informing him that the Earl Russell, a Member of this House, was on September 12 sentenced to imprisonment for a term of seven days on account of his refusal to enter into a recognizance for his future good behaviour.
