HL Deb 16 March 1961 vol 229 c955
VISCOUNT ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

My Lords, could I ask a question on Business to-day? Are we to have in this House a statement on South Africa similar to that which, I understand, may be made in another place by the right honourable gentleman the Prime Minister? Similarly, shall we have here any statement which may be made in another place by the right honourable gentleman the Minister of Agriculture on the Annual Review of prices?

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL AND MINISTER FOR SCIENCE (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM)

My Lords, yes. I should hope to synchronise the statement on South Africa here with the statement in another place; and the same will be true, I think, at a later moment of time, in respect of a statement to be made here by my noble friend Lord Waldegrave.
