HL Deb 17 July 1961 vol 233 c384
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, it will be necessary to have a dinner adjournment this evening, the time of which will be fixed through the usual channels, when we see how we get on with the Finance Bill. Dinner will be available tonight for those Peers who desire it, and I should be most grateful if noble Lords could inform the Refreshment Department by four o'clock. We are having certain staff problems and unless noble Lords can warn us by four o'clock I am afraid they will not be able to have dinner, but there will be sandwiches available. To-morrow night we shall not be able to put on a proper dinner but sandwiches will be available in the Restaurant.
