HL Deb 02 November 1960 vol 226 c33
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, I should like to inform your Lordships that my noble friend Lord Dundee will be making a statement on pensions at some suitable moment during the afternoon.

In view of the number of speakers in the adjourned debate on the humble Address it has been arranged that the dinner will be available in the restaurant this evening, and perhaps noble Lords would give notice to the restaurant as soon as possible if they wish to have dinner. On the question of whether we should adjourn for dinner, I would propose that we should discuss this matter through the usual channels at about 6 o'clock, and then see how far we have got and when an adjournment would be best.
