THE EARL OF DUNDEE

My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to extend to six months the period of grace for the payment of renewal fees for patents and the payment of fees for the extension of the period of copyright in registered designs, to provide a like period of grace for the making of applications for such extension, to validate certain extensions of the said period of copyright, and to repeal provisions of the Patents Act, 1949, relating to fees. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
