HL Deb 29 March 1960 vol 222 cc421-2
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, I should like to inform the House that my noble friend Lord Craigton will be making a statement at approximately 3.30 o'clock on last night's fire in Glasgow. There will also be a statement by my noble friend Lord Chesham on the future of the Post Office.

VISCOUNT STANSGATE

My Lords, will there be a statement on the intentions of Her Majesty's Government at the Security Council?

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL AND SECRETARY OF STATE FOR COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS (THE EARL OF HOME)

My Lords, there will be no statement on that to-day, but whenever my right honourable and learned friend the Foreign Secretary finds it possible to make a statement, which may be to-morrow, I will, of course, repeat it here.

VISCOUNT STANSGATE

My Lords, I thank the noble Earl.
