VISCOUNT HAILSHAM

My Lords, may I take Nos. 41 to 49 next? With the exception of No. 42, they are all minor and consequential Amendments. No. 42 again deals with a matter which was discussed in this House. It enables a present auditor of a building society not professionally qualified to continue to serve if he is authorised by the Board of Trade. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(Viscount Hailsham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
