HL Deb 14 July 1960 vol 225 c299

Order of the Day read for the consideration of Commons Amendments.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT KILMUIR)

My Lords, in rising to move that the Commons Amendments be now considered, I should like your Lordships to know that in my view they deal with points that are little more than drafting. Of course, I shall be pleased to answer any question upon any point, but if your Lordships do not indicate that you have any questions I hope that it will meet with the approval of the House, in view of the quite considerable remaining Business on the Order Paper, if I move the Amendments en bloc. In the meantime, I beg to move that the Commons Amendments be now considered.

Moved, That the Commons Amendments be now considered.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question. Motion agreed to.
