My Lords, I should like to inform the House that it has been arranged through the usual channels that the Committee stage of the Radioactive Substances Bill to-day will be taken until four o'clock, and that the Committee stage will then be adjourned to another day. The Public Health Laboratory Service Bill will not be taken to-day, and the debate on the Motion set down by my noble friend Baroness Elliot of Harwood will commence at four o'clock.

I should also like to inform the House that my noble friend Lord Perth will be making at approximately 3.30 p.m. a statement on the demonstration at Blantyre, in Nyasaland, on January 26.
