THE EARL OF ONSLOWMy Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Lord Privy Seal, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to make permanent the Population (Statistics) Act, 1938, and to make further provision as to matters with respect to which particulars may be required under that Act and as to certificates to be produced on the registration of stillbirths. I beg to move that the Bill be now read a first time.
