HL Deb 01 July 1959 vol 217 cc531-2
VISCOUNT ELIBANK

My Lords, I beg to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows.

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the seventh member of the Krupp Mixed Committee has been elected; and, if so, what is his name and nationality, and what are his political, business, economic or other associations.]

THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNE)

My Lords, Herr Eberhard Reinhardt has been elected as the seventh member of the Krupp Mixed Committee. He is a Swiss national, and since 1945 has been one of the general directors of the Crédit Suisse in Zürich.

VISCOUNT ELIBANK

My Lords, I beg to thank the noble Marquess for his Answer. May we take it that the Committee is now in session?

THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNE

No, my Lords, your Lordships may not take it that the Committee is now in session; but your Lordships may take it that the Committee will be in session very shortly.
