HL Deb 27 January 1959 vol 213 c793
VISCOUNT HAILSHAM

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name. This is to enable the Lord Chancellor to play his part in the Second Reading referred to. He is now, I understand, engaged on the Judicial Business of the Privy Council.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 35 be considered in order to its being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence to the Motion of the Earl of Cork and Orrery over the other Orders of the Day.—(Viscount Hailsham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
