My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to amend the law of Scotland as to the liability of occupiers and others for injury or damage occasioned to persons or property on any land or other premises by reason of the state of the premises or of anything done or omitted to be done thereon; and for purposes connected with the matter aforesaid. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
